How to Add Coverage

When you add an item to your cart, you'll see an option above the checkout button inviting you to add shipping protection for a for a fraction of the cost of the cart value. Clicking the checkbox will add a new item to your cart from Route Shipping Insurance. You'll receive a confirmation email from Route that you are protected and a link to use for filing claims. If for whatever reason the order does not reach you, gets damaged before arriving or stolen from your porch, you can claim a refund from Route. Route responds to claims within 24 hours and processes claims usually within 5 days. Route is backed by providers within the London insurance group, the world's leading insurance marketplace.

 

Product Replacement/Accident Insurance

We understand how important it is for you to protect your investments. That's why we've partnered with Clyde to offer you extended warranty protection underwritten by Lyndon Southern Insurance Company. Through Clyde's Protection Plan, your items are protected from accidents such as drops and spills that occur for up to 1 year after you purchase

How to Add Coverage

  1. Select your plan while viewing product details for covered items. You'll see the "add product coverage" options above your "add to cart" button.
  2. After you add an item to your cart, a popup window will appear prompting you to add protection to your covered item.
  3. At checkout, you'll get one final chance to purchase coverage before submitting your order. Take it!

Returns/Refunds

Sometimes things just aren't what you thought they'd be. We understand. That's why as part of our exclusive Signature Program benefits, we offer our "Any Excuse" 30-day return policy to soothe that buyer's remorse. If you need to request a refund or initiate a return follow the steps below:

How to Request Refund

  1. Be sure you are a member of the Signature Program 
  2. Email us at info@shopvelvetsignature.com with the subject "Refund for [Insert Your Order #] within 30 days of 
  3. We may or may not request you to return the item to finalize the payout process. Details will be included in our emailed response to your initial request.
